When choosing draperies for your home or office areas, you should follow five easy steps:
1. Choose a designer you feel comfortable with and one who will listen to your ideas in your home or workplace.
2. Coordinate each room’s colors, furniture, and carpet and select a style.
3. Decide upon a nice fabric – Warning! Avoid close out and remnants because if you need more later it cannot be found. Fresh new styles, patterns and colors are more exciting anyway.
4. Get professional workmanship to deliver a quality product. (Matched patterns, 4” double hem, and weighted bottoms are a few “must haves.”)
5. Wait! Any professionally produced drapery will take 4-6 weeks to deliver. The best is worth waiting for. (The installer is also very important to the final look. Again, get experienced people.)
